Join us for this series of three classes to help pregnant mothers and their partners prepare for life with your new baby: Breastfeeding Your Baby This class will teach you the basics of breastfeeding as well as going over common problems and solutions. You will learn why breastfeeding is important, get information on community and professional breastfeeding resources, and begin to form a support network of other nursing women. Saturday, October 18th 10:00 to 12:00 Newborn Care Class Learn how to take care of your precious newborn! This class will go over topics such as bathing, eye, ear and nail care, slings and baby wearing, cloth diapering, and an introduction to attachment parenting. Saturday, October 25th 10:00-12:00 The Fourth Trimester In this class, we will address the needs of the mother in the first three months postpartum. Learn how to take care of yourself while taking care of your newborn throughout the day! Topics include sleep and nutrition, exercise, and recognizing postpartum depression. We’ll also go adjusting your relationship as new parents. Saturday November 1st 10:00-12:00 Location Classes are held at The Birth House in Bridgton, ME. We are located just off 302, at 28 South High Street. Just a 30-minute drive from N. Conway, NH, Norway, and Windham.

The cost of the classes are $30.00 each, or $75.00 for the whole series.
