Besides going to The Birth House for your prenatals, you will go when you are in active labor.  It is best for the process of labor to go about your daily life as much as possible during the early stage of labor.  You will be in touch with your midwife by phone during this phase and she will give you recommendations depending on the situation and time of day (eat a good lunch, go for a walk, go to sleep, take a bath, etc.).  When your contractions become regular and strong and you are in active labor, it is time to come to The Birth House.  Your midwives will be there to greet you.
