Heidi Fillmore-Patrick, CPM, NHCM
Heidi is a Certified Professional Midwife who has been practicing home birth in Southern Maine and the Eastern New Hampshire region since 1987. She was trained at the Midwifery Training Institute in Albuquerque, New Mexico and is currently certified nationally as a CPM, holds her Certification to practice in New Hampshire, and is a member of the Maine Association of CPMs, the New Hampshire Midwives Association, the National Association of CPM's, as well as the Midwives Alliance of North America (MANA). Heidi lives in Bridgton with her husband John and their two daughters, Hannah and Stella, born at home in 1990 and 1993. In addition to her midwifery practice, Heidi is director of Birthwise Midwifery School, an accredited direct-entry midwifery training program also located in Bridgton, and is an avid gardener and baker.
Robin Doolittle, CPM
Robin started attending births in 2001 and became a Certified Professional Midwife (CPM) four years later. After working in homebirth practices from Maine to California, she joined Birthwise Midwifery Service in 2005. She loves being able to provide women and families with empowering choices in childbirth. Robin has a special interest in working with herbs and women’s health, and teaches Childbirth Preparation classes. Robin also is on the faculty and staff of Birthwise Midwifery School.
AnnMarie RianWanzeck, CPM
AnnMarie is a Certified Professional Midwife who joined Birthwise Midwifery Service in 2007. She has attended births at home and in a birth center since 2004, and in the hospital as a doula, since 2002. She graduated from Birthwise Midwifery School after completing much of her training at a freestanding birth center in Florida. She will bring her experience there to The Birth House in Maine.
