Childbirth Preparation Classes at The Birth House

Provided by Birthwise Midwifery Service; open to all pregnant women, not just midwifery clients!

Where?

Classes are held at The Birth House in Bridgton, ME. We are located just off 302, 28 South High Street. Just a 30-minute drive from N. Conway, NH, Norway, and Windham.

When?

The next class session begins September 10, 2008. Class sessions are held five Wednesdays from 7:00-9:00 pm. Private classes are also available.

Who is this class for?

Pregnant moms and her partner or support person. This class will be geared to those planning a natural, drug-free labor and birth whether at home, a birth center, or the hospital.

Who will be teaching the classes and what will I be learning?

AnnMarie RianWanzeck, CPM will be guiding mothers and couples through various topics including the process of labor and birth, pain-coping strategies and comfort measures, birth positions, special circumstances in birth, breastfeeding, baby care, the postpartum period, and more. You will learn that birth is a normal and natural life process that you are both capable of and prepared for! AnnMarie is a practicing midwife and a mother.
