• Individualized and complete prenatal care.       
  
• Natural birth at home or in The Birth House
• Post partum care up to 6 weeks.
• Newborn care up to 6 weeks.
• Post partum doula care.
• Pap Tests
• Cervical Cap Fitting
• Well woman care

Components of our Pregnancy and Birth Care:

• Pre-conception counseling

• Free initial consult visit to meet and answer questions

• Comprehensive Prenatal Care, including:
• History and Physical exam
• Nutritional counseling
• Routine labwork
• Optional prenatal tests (i.e. gestational diabetes screen, quad screen, ultrasound, beta strep culture)
  
• Sibling Preparation
• 24 hour on-call availability

•  Labor and Birth Care at the Birth House:
  
• Waterbirth    
• Emergency supplies and equipment for mother and baby, whosoever should need it
• Continuous care by the midwife from arrival to 4 hours after the birth
  

• Post partum care, including:
• Home visits on the first and third day after the birth
• Office visits at one week, two weeks, and six weeks
• Breastfeeding consultation, education and support
• Well-baby care
• Gynecological exam and Pap at six weeks
• Counseling on birth-control options and appropriate referrels

• Newborn Care, including:
• Newborn exam
• Birth certificate
• Optional newborn eye prophylaxis and vit K supplementation
• Newborn metabolic screen
